MEET FARAH LONDON

Farah London DStG, a Dame to the International Knightly Order Valiant of St George (“the Order of St. George”), Deputy Commander of the Order St George London Branch, a Freeman of the City of London and mayoral candidate for the Mayor of London Elections 2021, ran as an independent candidate, entering the political arena as a candidate for the first time. She not only became a celebrated voice for the people across London, but she also highlighted the social injustices being suffered by businesses and residents. This earnt Farah a total of 58,051 votes from the electorates, that believed in her vision for London. Farah continues to be a social advocate for important causes, committing to deliver items from her comprehensive manifesto for London, through private funding.

She is a visionary entrepreneur, with over 22 years of corporate and entrepreneurial experience, she continues to drive successful initiatives across five continents in global trade. Founder of an award-winning global government business forum, BACK 2 BUSINESS INTERNATIONAL. The platform has successfully facilitated hundreds of millions of trade and investment around the world. She previously held a successful career in reinsurance, initially as a broker to Lloyds of London and then as an underwriter for one of the largest international reinsurance companies, writing multi-billion-pound policies all over the world, in liability, energy, terrorism, political violence, kidnap & ransom, hospitality and environmental liability.

Farah devotes herself to the community by being an active volunteer for several social justice programs and charity organisations over the past 20 years. Her community work has driven real change and transformed lives. Among the many causes she has been involved in, some remain particularly close to her heart, such as caring for the homeless, supporting those with mental health challenges, fighting against knife crime and providing support to families of victims and helping young people to avoid the lure of gang violence through mentoring. She is also a campaigner for cleaner oceans and actively raises awareness and funding for injured sea turtles from ghost nets.
