
Chinese Embassy plans moving to Muslim residential area causing arguments

The Chinese Embassy in London is preparing to move to the former Royal Mint Court in East London. The Tower Hamlets district, where the embassy’s new location is moving, is the area with the highest proportion of Muslims in the UK. In view of China’s suppression of Xinjiang Uyghurs and Hong Kong demonstrators, the residents of the district – including Farah London – have concerns about the embassy’s relocation.
